Artist Biography

Jen Jay is a contemporary Australian artist based near Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, where she works from her private studio gallery in Peregian Springs.

Known for her richly textured original paintings, Jen draws inspiration from the iconic landscapes and coastal lifestyle of Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. Her contemporary artworks explore memory, atmosphere and a sense of place, celebrating the beauty of Australian beaches, waterways and the joy of everyday life.

Working from her Sunshine Coast studio gallery, Jen creates original coastal artworks distinguished by expressive colour, movement and layered texture. Her paintings are inspired by the unique character of the Noosa region and Australia’s east coast, offering collectors a lasting connection to places they love.

Collected throughout Australia and internationally, Jen Jay’s work has developed a loyal following among collectors seeking contemporary Australian coastal art with authenticity and a strong sense of place.
Alongside her professional practice, Jen is a qualified Fine Art tutor and mentor, sharing her passion for creativity through workshops and studio-based learning experiences.

Visitors are welcomed by appointment to Jen Jay Art Studio Gallery in Peregian Springs, conveniently located between Noosa and Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, where they can experience the creative process firsthand and view original artworks in the environment in which they are created.

Through each collection, Jen seeks to create works that become lasting reminders of the beauty, memories and lifestyle that make Noosa and the Australian coast so special.

I commissioned Jen to paint two pieces of art for my new Brisbane apartment to tied in with the existing interior styling whilst reflecting my personal taste in art. Her background in interior design, combined with her artistic diversity, resulted in two unique pieces that were both anchored to each other and the entire interior space.
